My name is Anita Tuhaise "Adeno warrior " Who lives kakumiro District in Bunyoro region, lgayaza B town council Birembo Sub -county . Am Single and not single mom but totally single not searching. I grew up with a single mother since my childhood, my father died before I was born, which means my tongue never called dad And I was born from destitute family with the struggle of many challenges , Born from Catholic family. I had a dream since my childhood to become a nun and a doctor. I joined school when I was 9 years old, then after 14yrs, I started getting sick with the seriously unknown general body pains almost from January to January , the main complaints would be headache, abdominal pain, knifelike pain, joint pains and general body weakness allover the body not forgetting breast discharge like spoiled milk. When I reached 16 years, I started menstruation with much sharp pain, bloating with heavy menstrual flow, Due to that Issue of being sick, I dropped out of the school and my dreams didn't come true. My mom tried everything as in treating me to the extent of selling the whole of her land but there was no change , In addition to that, churches also contributed towards my medications and hospitals bills , but nothing like remarkable improvement would be noticed. Doctors would always say that it's infections, Ulcers, hormonal imbalance, brain tumor because of severe headache and Fibroids . In 2015 Doctor's Prescription was bromocriptine tabs 1.5 mg then 2.5mg X 6/12 but the conditions persisted. Then after Anemia developed due to heavy flows, In around 2020 I was referred at referral hospital for further management, by then I had hb level of 2mg/dl MRRH, they sent me to HRRH or fort portal. I went HRRH coz it was near by to my district. More to that, Doctors did what they were supposed to do, I started with Tranexamic lv mefenamic acid ,Iron sucrose and so many others. Later they took biopsy to mulago cancer institute, and they confirmed that I have cancer " in 2022, they opened my file" and my file number is 4819/22 at STC ward. Which means that to opened that file, it was well confirmed that I have cancer. However it wasn't true. Doctors suggested that Oral Morphine solution can help to reduce pain, however nothing changed In 2021 ,it's when I met miss Grace Nagawa the day that I will Never forget in my life, she cared for me, unexplained care, She is like a mother to me ,She loves God, she's a courageous person with a big heart, sensitized the Edo/ Adeno warriors how to deal with that monster disease, about what to avoid in terms of food and what to eat "Diet and Exercises "Trusting God and waiting for his will and his mercy upon unto all Endo/Adeno warriors . After there i met the CEO of Endometriosis foundation Uganda, my heroes one Miss Grace, it was as if God had answered my prayers, to find a person who cares about your life in every season whether in dry or wet in every circumstances. I felt comfortable with her, I loved her so much and she loved me because she cares about my life. She has managed to pay all bills during my surgery twice. The truth is after finding my HERO I mean miss Grace together with her team they got what was killing me for many years, more than 26 years without knowing what was really disturbing me. At least i can testify there is a change! and I have hope that one day one time, God himself will reveal the medicine that can cure Adenomyosis/Endometriosis permanently. I would like to inform parents, guardians, pastor, Priests, leaders and all other concerned people to listen to their children's complaints more especially when they are complaining of menstrual pains and other period related pains, it's not normal ! You should all be aware that Endometriosis/Adenomyosis is real & it pains silently and kills. Many girls drop out of the school because of abdominal pain not knowing that perhaps its Endometriosis /Adenomyosis For instance , 1) Endometriosis is a hidden disease that can affect 1 to 1O women/girls /10 to 100 Girls all over the world it's a chronic condition that can start from uterus, Girls/women in reproductive age are the most affected ones. In conclusion, My appreciation goes to miss Grace who came out with a good idea of Endometriosis/Adenomyosis awareness Thank you so much my hero and God reward you abundantly. Other thanks goes to the CEO of Pan-Africa Holistic Mr / Dr Peter William, really thanks for showing us a good heart through helping us in everything that I couldn't mention. I also request the ministry of health to remember us like others with health issues, I also request ministry of health kindly; 1: To look for us well trained Gynecologists /Doctors/Specialist/ Surgeons, Neurologist because Adenomyosis can change the brain structure. 2) Different doctors to look out into our issues because that monster disease affects every human organ such as Brain, liver, kidney, lungs large and small intestines among others. That may treat us in Uganda because outside countries are unaffordable for many of us. In additional, well equipped facilities, with enough equipments and drugs that can cure ENDOMETRIOSIS/ADENOMYOSIS Completely/permanently. Not like the drugs we use, such as luprodex , Elagolix, meuri , dydroboon and so many more others. They are expensive yet they can't treat the real diseases . Government of Uganda and other Governments ,ministers, prime ministers and "His Excellence" Kindly we are requesting for your hands to stand with us as Endo / Adeno warriors to fight this resilient killer disease known as monster disease . EVERY CLOUD HAS A SILVER LINING please ministry of health, Don't get tired of us, we Endo/ Adeno warriors we need your help, provision and support.
